Challenge 26 - Black and White

Wow! We had so many entries for last weeks challenge and the whole DT were blown away by your creativity. Thanks to everyone for entering.

In past weeks we have inundated our galleries with colourful spring feeling layouts, lots of vibrant colours and even rainbows of colour for one of our challenges. Thats why, this week we are toning things down a bit and going black and white!

Your challenge this week is to create a layout entirely from black and white - we're talking black and white photos; black and white embellishments; black and white lettering; black and white paper; black and white ribbon; black and white everything.... apart from one item!!

We want you to create a completely black and white layout but to include just one item with some colour. It could be one flower, one piece of ribbon, one button, one letter - the choice is yours!

Heres what the DT came up with this week:

Telah used one orange flower, she also highlighted a bit of orange in her photos

Nancy used a light blue ribbon to enhance her layoutNilsa chose to frame her photo with a red border
Karry added a splash of colour with light blue flowers
Crystal added some impact with a giant orange brad
Georgina added just one red button for a splash of colour
Sarah chose to add colour to her layout with her title
So there we have it - something different and something very challenging! Can't wait to see what you all come up with. Dont forget to link us to your layouts by midnight on Saturday to be entered into the draw for a prize! You can link by adding a comment to this post, or uploading to our gallery (just click on the link on the right hand side of this page)

If you take part in challenges 26 and 27 then your name will get entered into a draw for this great 12x12 collection pack of Basic Grey Wisteria papers, donated by Georgina-Kay Designs.

Challenge 24/25 Winner

One of these days I will manage to sort my video camera out and be able to show you the draw "LIVE"!! I put everyones names (who entered challenge 24/25) into a bag, shook it a lot and then pulled out a name! That name this week was Lydia!!

What is this fortnights prize I hear you exclaim?!
Well, its a cool Quote book by Autumn Leaves entitled "Spiritual quotes for inspired moments". It has been donated by the Lovely KELLY - a scrapwhisper player, and is full of great quotes under the headings "Believe; Journey; Love; Live; Explore" It is quite literally jam packed with inspiration - all 157 pages of it.
So thanks go to Kelly for her fab donation - go leave her some love on her blog!

Challenge 22/23 Winner

Ooh, not as many layout entries this time round (it was certainly quality over quantity - there were fab layouts submitted) - me thinks our mojo is slipping!! Dont worry though as the next challenge we have will get those juices flowing again!

A massive thank you to Terry Hale who donated this fortnights prize pack to us, the stamps are excellent (or should that be egg-cellent seeing as though today is Easter Sunday?!) and I can finally reveal that the lucky winner of this great prize is............................

MY LITTLE TEAPOT!!

Congratulations ! Please email your address to gh26@sky.com to claim your prize.

Challenge 23 - Gadgets

Thanks so much for all of your amazing layouts for challenge 22. There were some really colourful and cheerful ones. Everyones name has been entered into the draw for those awesome stamps donated by Terry.

This weeks your task hopefully is slightly more challenging that usual. We want you to scrap about your favourite gadget/ appliance or object. Whats the one gadget/appliance or object you absolutely cannot do without. How has technoglogy changed your world? Do you text everyday on your phone, do you love your cooker/oven, is your camera your best friend? Here's what our DT came up with:

Nilsa cant live without her reading glasses!

Telah cant live without her computer (and of course SW)
Nancy cant live without her dishwasher (I hear ya girl!)

For Karry, its her I-Pod!

And Crystal has journalled about her need for her computer!

So what are you going to scrap about this week> What can you absolutely not live without?

Link us to your LO's by midnight on Saturday to be entered into the draw.
