Design Team Blog Hop - Trishutter Card

Hi there! It's the 15th of the month and that means it's another Design Team Blog Hop! This month Georgina created the tutorial - a Christmas, Trishutter Card. These cards look so effective but are super simple to make. Lets see how:

You will need: cardstock 5.5" x 12" long / scraps of paper to decorate / stamp / ink / glitter / adhesive / scorer / ruler / craft knife or cutting system.

Step One - Lay your cardstock in front of you horizontally.

Step Two - Score down at 2" / 4" / 8" and 10"

Step Three - Turn your card stock vertically in front of you and with a ruler and craft knife, measure 1.5" in from the right side and cut vertically between where you previously scored at 10" to 2". Repeat this 4" in from the left.

You should then have a section cut like this:

Step Four - Fold your card stock with a concertina style fold.

Step Five - Push the middle section to fold the cardstock in the opposite direction - this enables it to stand up

You can see if you fold it flat it should look like this:
Step Six - Open the cardstock up and decorate it with scraps of paper however you wish.

Step Seven - Add a stamped image to the front of your card and a message in the middle:

Step Eight - your card is complete!

And it folds flat to be able to post!

Now check out the other DT members blogs to see what they did with this tutorial:
If you decide to give this card a go yourself, link us to your creation HERE and be in with the chance of winning the November prize pack!
