Well, it is the 15th of the month - and that means a tutorial blog hop from your Scrapwhisper Design Team!
This month Georgina showed the team how to create a Waterfall card. Here is what you need:
1 piece of cardstock 5.5 inches x 8.5 inches
1 piece of patterned paper approx 5inches x 4 inches
1 piece of patterned paper approx 4 inches x 3 inches
1 strip of cardstock 2 x 9 inches
4 pieces of 2x2 cardstock
stamps and inks of your choice or other embellishments
2 brads
piece of cardstock 0.25 inches x 4 1/8 inches
Step 1 - Fold your main piece of cardstock in half and attach your patterned paper as so:

Step 2 - Stamp and colour your 4 chosen images and adhere them to the 2x2 square pieces of card. Here Georgina has used images from
Pixie Dust Studio and coloured them with copic markers.

Step 3 - Take your strip of cardstock (2x9) and score it at 1 inches, 3.5 inches and 4.25 inches. Fold on these creases and press to make them sharp.

Step 4 - Attach the small strip of cardstock across the bottom of your card about an inch or two up, securing it with brads is the best option here as it keeps things sturdy. Do not attach with glue.

Step 5 - Cover the middle section of this piece of cardstock with glue

Step 6 - Slide the long section of your (2x9) cardstock strip behind the horizontal one. Fold the top of the 2x9 cardstock over at the first crease and secure as so:

Step 7 - Take the image you want to show last and adhere this fully to the bottom of your 2x9 cardstock strip. It should be in line with the smaller strip attached to your main card.

Step 8 - Completely cover the next section up on the cardstock strip with adhesive. Do not cover the back of your image otherwise the waterfall will not work.

Step 9 - Line up your next image over the previous and adhere it to the adhesive you laid in step 8.

Can you see how the image is attached only by the top

Repeat this for all the remaining images:

Step 10 - Stamp a sentiment on the base of your cardstock strip

Step 11 - then make a hole and tie a ribbon through - this will make it easy to pull down.

Then you have your finished waterfall card! Simply pull the ribbon gently downwards to reveal the images within.

And there we have it! A waterfall card. Before you try this yourself, check out what the rest of the Design Team have created - you will love their different designs.
