It's so exciting!! On Sunday we will be revealling all of our team's layouts in the most recent round of the team Scrapwhisper Game! We will be revealing the layout that the team leaders started with and following the progression through for each team. There are some amazing layouts and we are excited to show them to you! This is always the fun bit!!

We will also be announcing the winning team and each member of that team win a prize! What's more exciting is this time, the winners get to choose which one of the following prizes they would like to receive:

Either:

(A) The brand new Fiskars Roller Stamp


(B) The brand new Bo Bunny Collection - Noel

or

(C) The brand new Fiskars Border Punch - "Notebook"

What a choice! Some fabulous prizes up for grabs!!

If you haven't already entered our last challenge of September (Around the Campfire) now is the time! After the deadline tomorrow we shall be choosing who has won our cute September prize pack (as pictured top right). You can only be in with the chance of winning if you have participated in one of our weekly challenges throughout September!

Challenge 78 - Around the Campfire

Hey everyone! It's our final challenge of September! Can you believe that already - where is the time flying to?

This week we thought it would be fun to start switching to more Autumn/Fall themed layouts. We challenge you this week to be inspired by the simple campfire!

"Around the campfire" - Use this theme as your inspiration - maybe use firey colours, add some kind of wooden embellishment to your page, scrap about something warm, photos of toasting marshmallows, use lyrics from a popular campfire song, tents, fishing, BBQs - its up to you!!

DT Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Hope your week so far is going well. We have a cute blog hop for you all to take part in today (delayed from 15th of this month) - we hope you enjoy!

Nilsa shows us how to make these cute little bookmarks:

1. Cut a piece of card stock 3" inches square. Mark 3 sides of the square in the center at 1 1/2 inches.

2. Connecting pencil marks score and fold to create a tent shaped piece.


3. Cut a piece of patterned paper to fit slightly smaller than the triangle you created and glue to make a pocket.


4. Turn bookmark over. Cut a piece of patterned paper slightly smaller than bookmark front and adhere. Decorate to your taste. Don’t use anything that is too bulky or your book won’t close properly. Bookmark can be used on both sides… whichever you like best.


You can change the dimensions to make the bookmark bigger. The pink/green bookmark is 4 inches and I marked the three sides at 2.

Challenge 77 - there's a mouse in the house

Terence Cuneo was a military artist and in every painting he created he drew a mouse somewhere, his signature if you will. A hidden gem in a work of art, only visable to those who go looking.

Your challenge this week therefore, is to add a mouse to your layout somehow - could be a doodle, embellishment, the word - we will leave you to interpret the challenge as you will.

Challenge 76 and August Winner!

Okay - now onto our next challenge. This one is simple and in honour of Leah one of our DT members who is the proud Mom of a new baby boy! We want you to create a layout using the colour blue as the only colour on your layout. You are allowed a few colour accents here and there, but we want to see lots of blue!

Challenge 75 - Before and After

Yeay! It's the weekend again, we love weekends at Scrapwhispers! Why? Because we get to play in another challenge!
