Well hello there! Thanks for stopping by the Scrap Whisper Blog today. Our challenge this week is a scraplifting one.
We challenge you to scraplift this layout created by Nilsa way back in October 2007
Smile by Nilsa (the layout you should scraplift)
Time has moved on for Nilsa since she created this layout in 2007 and her scrapping technique and ability has naturally changed, progressed and adapted as she has learnt more. By digging through old layouts you have created you can quite often find new inspiration! So, if you find yourself in your craft room this weekend without any inspiration, try digging through your own albums and seeing what inspires you.
Nilsa used her old layout to inspire a brand new card! Isn't it wonderful. You can see how she has replicated the scalloped border and ribbon then added some depth with embellishments and tags.

Rosey used Nilsa's old layout to create a similar one of her own. Can you see how she copied the scalloped border around her photos but added in more photos and journalling too. She added more cute rabbit embellishments and some ephemera too. Take a look at how the whole layout sparkles with glitter spots all over the page too to mirror the dots Nilsa added to her original page.

Georgina's view on the scraplift was different again. She replicated the spotty background paper Nilsa had on her original layout, tied ribbon in the same place, used one photo but extended the scalloped border, added sparkle and ticket stubs with staples. Some journalling and a two font title finished the page.

Now it's over to you. Scraplift Nilsa's original layout and then come back here and link us to your creations, we would love to see what you create and you could be in with a chance of winning a prize!
We're only using one linky this month so you might see your name on there more than once if you took part in previous challenges in February! Don't panic! :)
Have a great weekend! :) Don't forget to sign up for the new team scraplifting game due to start soon as well!
